Mechanical Movement

Self-winding Caliber (Automatic) with 21 Jewels and fully constructed based off the modular design of the Swiss ETA 2824-2 and the Swiss Valjoux 7750.

The Patent rights for both these Swiss Calibers have expired, allowing us to legally reproduce their engineering features and architectural design.

Both the ETA 2824-2 and Valjoux 7750 remain two of the most ubiquitous Swiss mechanical movements of the past 50 years, present in the highest selling product lines of brands such as Breitling, Tag Heuer, IWC, Tudor or Omega.

This particular version is manufactured by Seagull© and finished by hand in Japan, featuring 21 Jewels and adjusted to run at 21600 BPH, making it one of the most robust and serviceable calibers on the market.

We’re also happy to announce that the Mechanical Caliber (photo above) has been improved and redesigned, now featuring:

- A fully decorated self-winding rotor (the previous one was completely plane)
- A vertically integrated Automatic GMT (dual-time) module, replacing the preexistent standard chronograph module.
- Blued screws not just on the rotor, but also on all parts.
- Plates and modules are now completely built from solid 316L Stainless steel, replacing a few silicon parts that can still be seen on the photograph above.
- Power reserve of 48 hours (previously 40 hours).

All our Calibers are independently tested (ISO 3159), ensuring that each piece is assembled & cased by hand, and that it has successfully passed multiple different Quality Control tests such as Timekeeping Accuracy, Lubrication and Shock Resistance.

The Caliber can also be manually wound by unscrewing the crown to the neutral position and then rotating the crown clock-wise. Full power reserve will be reached at approximately 30 rotations of the crown.
The watch features a center Hour, Minute and sweeping Seconds hand
Movement is sealed and protected with a double gasket screw-down crown
